Words That I See..

About: Hi, I'm Jim. Writing is just one of the many things I am sort of good at. I love hearing and reading the words that everyone has to say. Just another human, trying to survive the best way I can.

And The World Says, "Right On.": Love in the Eyes of a Twenty Year Old

It is a plague, Love
It is a virus that seeps into our hearts

We are born with it
We are groomed for it

To accept, Love
To embrace the cold, enchanting hands that it wields.
To be
Love.
To embody
Love

We long for your presence
We crave it
We endure the sacraments and go on.
We fall
And go on
I know
I know

Love.
You are a cruel, absent mother
You leave us when we most need you
Forever we remain haunted by your presence
For who are we to question your Entity
God sent you as a reminder
That we cannot exist
Without the devotion of another.

We are chained to you
By you
We are infected
With your forging words and alluring sentiments.

Love
You are a lover
A fighter
A friend and foe.
I can not know
How you come into my heart
Amuse my mind and use my body to express the Actions I keep hidden for so many nights.
It’s your right
It’s your power

I know
I know

Love
And for so many reasons,
Love,
You are not right.

And The World Says, "Right On.": Conversations

Trying so hard to maintain our speeches
Several social leeches
That we cast onto the lines

Procrastination
Humiliation
Hard at times; Stubborn
How do we continue with the elaborations

These thoughts infested
Speakings that we cherish so much

Bickering; Sicking
For lust
For power
For intelligence

That is all we truly want
Just Love
Appreciation
That sensation; To belong

Those random times to other cities.
Pity-pities where no-man wants to go.
Senses sensations is all that this is for.

 Conversations.

“A wise man once said, “You can have anything in life, if you will sacrifice everything else for it.” What he meant is, nothing comes without a price. So, before you go into battle, you better decide how much you’re willing to lose. Too often, going after what feels good, means letting go of what you know is right. And letting someone in, means abandoning the walls you’ve spent a lifetime building. Of course, the toughest sacrifices are the ones we don’t see coming. When we don’t have time to come up with a strategy, to pick a side or to measure the potential loss. When that happens, when the battle chooses us, and not the other way around, that’s when the sacrifice can turn out to be more than we can bear.”
